What Questions Should an Architect Ask?

Once customers have a clearly defined use case, you can begin to develop specific solutions. To structure the process of developing solutions, we’ll use the same guidance we did when scoping use cases:

  • What technologies do you use?
  • Who is accessing data?
  • What sensitive data needs to be accessed?
  • Why is data being accessed?

Below, we’ve provided additional questions for each of these broad categories that you can use to develop solutions for deployment methods and integrations. Click on the flashcards below to reveal your customers’ responses and build your POV.

Why is data being accessed?

Develop a Solution

Now that you’ve collected the details, you’re responsible for demonstrating how Immuta brings value to their work. To do this, you’ll need to

  1. determine a deployment method.
  2. determine relevant integrations: Native Integration, native workspaces, external IAMs, and/or external catalogs.
  3. demonstrate relevant policies.

The rest of this learning path guides you through this process, beginning with an exploration of Kubernetes and Docker installations.
