Overview

These courses explore the basic features of Immuta, including data sources, projects, and policies. Whether you’re analyzing datasets, restricting data access, or managing user entitlements, we’ve designed a learning path for your specific persona:

Data Owners and Users: Create data sources, manage policies and projects, and access data.
Data Governors: Assess how data is being used and manage Global Policies, purposes, acknowledgement statements, and tags to restrict data access across multiple projects and data sources within Immuta.
Administrators: Manage the permissions, attributes, and groups associated with each user and configure application settings and integrations.

After you complete a course, a certificate of completion will be available for you to download on the course's home page.

Immuta’s most successful customers don’t just “turn on” the platform. They operationalize a small set of core features that power safe self‑service access, reduce manual approvals, and make audits straightforward. This training series is designed to walk you through those must‑adopt capabilities step by step: centralizing identity, standardizing metadata and discovery, automating policy enforcement, and enabling a governed data marketplace for your users.

Each course in this series maps directly to a core Immuta feature or governance concept. Whether you’re responsible for identity and access, platform onboarding, or data stewardship, these trainings will help you move from ad hoc controls to a consistent, scalable, and auditable governance model.

These courses are being released as a Preview training series aligned to Immuta’s core recommended features and governance patterns. We’re sharing them early so customers and field teams can start learning and applying these concepts while we continue to refine the content, examples, and hands-on exercises.
